Today in Heritage History, June 4, 1929, George Eastman shows local news journalists the very first Technicolor film shot, in Rochester, New York. To demonstrate the new vivid colors and contrasts in this new process, his first two-minute shoot was titled, “When the Curtains Don’t Match the Carpet”, and (inadvertently) “starred” Eastman’s first wife.
