Today in Heritage History, June 19, 1988, the world’s largest sausage, 413 meters long, is completed in the Sardinian province of Sassari*. Women traveled from all over the globe to worship, pay homage, take photographs (back to their husbands) and build shrines. Several female pilgrims (even) reported sightings of the Virgin Mary.
*The record no longer stands. It was beaten (no pun intended) in 2009 by the province of Potenza who created a 450 meter sausage.

Ohhh… speaking of Ben and Jerry’s… they now have a Greek Yogurt ice cream thingy and the BEST flavor is Raspberry with chocolate chunks. I mean it is to die for! I’ve always been a chocolate lover… chocolate fudge mixed in chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips (for example). Then tried this Raspberry/chocolate chip Greek Yogurt…. I will never go back to the old stuff again – unless B&J stops making it of course.
I’ll take two please.
