July 5, 2011, a large dust storm strikes Phoenix, Arizona leaving thousands without power and grounding flight at Phoenix Airport. Arizona Meteorologists were able to pinpoint the cause of the storm to Governor Jan Brewer’s return to Arizona from a short 4th of July trip, with her new vertical landing broom.
