Today in Heritage History, March 10, 1975, Myron Norton of England files his patent for corrective glasses for dogs. Mr. Norton went on to also successfully patent Dog Whisperer closed-captioning for (misbehaving) hearing impaired canines, Braille doggie treats, assistive humping ladders (for physically height-challenged dogs), and elevated toilet seats for older pets too physically challenged to still comfortably shit on the carpet.
