Today in Heritage History, April 1, 2011, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that (only)  32,788 traffic deaths occurred for the year, the lowest since 1949. The N.H.T.S.A. went on to say that the numbers would have been “even more (fucking) impressive” if, “we didn’t have to include Toyota’s for the year”.
