Today in Heritage History, 1982, Time magazine names the computer Man of the Year. President and Mrs. Reagan we’re devastated by Time’s decision to neither nominate the President or take the First Family’s suggestions for their Man of the Year award. In keeping with that years technology-based theme the President had encouraged Time to nominate Billy Bob and the entire Munch’s Make Believe Band from Chuck E. Cheese. Mrs. Reagan’s suggestion for unknown reasons (other than being married to an 80-year-old man, pre-Viagra), was the vibrator.

Was sure the Reagan’s saw this coming. What a waste of their (our?) cash on all of those astrologers and psychics.
